Bauman Manufacturing assembles complete aprons using top quality chains and slats brought in from established North American manufacturers. These are built to the Original Equipment Manufacturer’s (OEM) specifications, ensuring simple apron replacement for new and old machines.

We similarly build complete custom aprons, supply chain-only options, and assemble repair sections with attachments upon request.

Bauman Manufacturing fabricates apron chains for manure spreaders, feeders, sand or salt trucks, and other applications. Equipped with your selection of pintle chain, flat detachable chain, or T-Bar chain.

Manure Spreader Apron Chain

Manure spreader aprons are equipped with:

  • 67XH flat detachable chain

  • T-Bar chain

  • 667X pintle chain

  • or 667K extra heavy pintle chain

Manure spreader apron assemblies are priced with the following:

  • Rail steel angle iron unless otherwise stated

  • 6 links between bars

  • *Exception: 667K chain aprons are priced with heavy, 1/4” rail steel angle iron

Forage Box Apron Chain

Forage box apron chains are equipped with:

  • 67XH flat detachable chain

  • 667X pintle chain

  • or 667H pintle chain

Cross Chain Aprons are equipped with:

  • CA550

  • 62

  • 662

  • or 55

Forage Box apron assemblies are priced with the following:

  • Mild steel angle iron unless otherwise stated

  • 8 links between bars

Sand and Salt Truck Apron Chain

Sand and Salt Truck Aprons are equipped with:

  • 662 pintle chain

  • 667X pintle chain

  • 667KC pintle chain

  • or C188 combination chain

Sand and Salt Truck Aprons are priced with the following:

  • High quality carbon flat steel bars, welded top and bottom, varied length and thickness based on the model specified

  • Varied link spacing, dependent on the model specified
