Company Profile

Over 30 years ago Bauman Manufacturing started up in Waterloo Region in the small town
of Conestoga, Ontario by Titus Bauman. Replacement chain for agricultural equipment
was the main product manufactured. In 1974 custom stabling became a viable aspect of
Bauman's product line. Stabling continues to be an important division of BML to this day.

Two years later the "Ebersol" line of inclined conveyors was purchased. The purchase of
Conestoga Chain in 1991 increased Bauman's market share and opened up the industrial
supply market.

The need for quality replacement PTO parts enabled BML to add to their already
diversified product list. Importing chains made it possible for BML to supply other
OEMs. Another component of BML is the custom manufacturing division where product is
made to specifications.

Brian and Louise Burns purchased BML from Titus Bauman in 1993 and are both active
in the company. Many of the employees stayed on to continue the tradition of
manufacturing the products Bauman is known for.

In 2001 Bauman Manufacturing relocated to a new facility in Elmira. The vision is to
be able to serve customers better in a newer and more accessable location.

Bauman Company Philosophy is to strive each day to continuously improve and
be the best in quality and service. Building relationships between employees, customers
and suppliers enables us to continue to promote teamwork because Bauman believes
people are our most valuable asset.
